Honeycomb Blackout Blinds

Stylish, Energy efficient and Versatile. Honeycomb Blackout blinds are the perfect window covering for anyone that wants added insulation whilst blocking out natural light. One of the main reasons that cellular blinds make an excellent blackout blind is because of the honeycomb structure. The Smart D cell pleated design gives the cellular blind some unique properties.

The pleated blind is designed to trap air in the honeycomb shaped pockets. An insulation barrier is then created that will reduce the exchange of heat in the summer and maintain warmth in the winter. This makes the cellular blind energy efficient which can result in lower energy bills. These energy saving blinds have excellent sound absorption properties too – helping reduce street noise and dampen sounds in rooms with hard flooring.

When fully raised the honeycomb blind stacks away neatly, giving a clear and unobstructed view. The double-walled honeycomb structure makes the fabric extremely strong, flexible and durable. Cordless and Motorized models are available for people who are looking for peace of mind with younger family members or pets.

Blackout blinds are available in all our product ranges. Cordless/Cordloop, Vertical, Motorised and TensionedSmartfit & Decoflex (including skylights). Honeycomb blinds allow for complete blackout. Another option available is combining your honeycomb blind with a frame this will reduce light bleed as the cellular blind will be built inside the frame – leading to the ultimate blackout.

These shades are perfect for any room but in particular bedrooms or rooms where natural light is needed to be obstructed. Our Honeycomb blackout blinds are available in over 100 fabric colours. There is a wide range of textures and materials to suit all decors, rooms and shading requirements. Cellular blinds are also available in both single and double cells.
